WASATCH MOUNTAIN RIDERS
FAQ
General
-
How many riders per group?
10-12 riders per group maximum, 3 minimum.
-
What if I don't know what group to put my rider in?
Shoot us a message via our contact page! We will reach out to you ASAP with the proper class to place your rider in.
-
What if my rider misses a practice session?
If your rider misses a particular practice for medical/non-medical emergencies or situations:
1. Contact your HEAD COACH immediately and inform them of your rider's situation.
2. Your HEAD COACH will respond with available class makeup options (either that same week or the next)
3. Choose a desired date to complete your rider's makeup ride, and make sure to send a confirmation text to your head coach.
-
How will I be notified of ride locations and other updates?
Each week an e-mail will be sent out from your head coaches with ride drop-off and pick-up locations. If a ride is canceled due to weather conditions, your head coach will provide you with updates and a rain-check replacement ride.
-
What if my rider is younger than the suggested age but has an advanced skillset?
The ages provided per camp are merely a generalization to help guardians know what ages their rider will be riding with. Please select a camp that ultimately matches your riders skill level and will help them develop as a mountain biker.
-
Some ages overlap between camps. Which should I choose?
Kids ages 7 or 10 can choose to join a younger group or older group based on their size, skill, and maturity. We leave this up to parents to decide what would be the best fit for each child.
